| About Monster Riot are the collaborative duo, Catherine McDaid and Jason Ruddy. Together they do delightful illustration and handmade creatures. Jason and Catherine met at university and in 2010 began to collaborate under the name Monster Riot. Catherine is the seamtress of the duo. She finds inspiration for her creatures from her love of animals and the quirky things she sees out and about. She also loves baking and playing the piano. Jason likes to draw, paint and create eccentric illustrations. Outside of Monster Riot he writes and makes art. When he's not being creative he likes being a film buff, finding treasures at car boot sales and getting fat on Catherine's baking.
